Pros: Quickness, Playfulness, Stability
Reviewer: Alison Pasino, Snowsports School Director @ 49 North Mountain Resort
The MRS is willing to go anywhere I have wanted to take it. From the bunny hill to rugged, exposed peaks. It is stable and forgiving for intermediates, but also has plenty of energy for aggressive skiers looking to challenge themselves on aggressive terrain. It’s nimble and quick to finish the turn in small- to medium-radius turns, but with enough torsional rigidity to lay over in larger arcs on groomers. This ski can handle true hardpack conditions, but it really shines in soft or variable snow. The MRS can truly be said to be a one-ski quiver for Northwest skiers.
